This scholarship, for full time studio potters, will cover the full cost of a Penland workshop, in any studio on campus,  and grant a stipend of $1,000.00 a week to offset the costs of being away from working studio production.

To be eligible  for this scholarship, you must have had an established full time studio practice in ceramics for at least one year, and will need to provide a resume that demonstrates you’ve been making your living solely by selling your work. You will need to provide five images of your work and links to your website.

In your essay be sure to state that you are applying for the Kent McLaughlin scholarship with no work requirements and a stipend,  describe what your needs are and how the scholarship will benefit your studio/production life.
